Why are Outdoor Boys Comments Off?

Luke from the Outdoor Boys had the comment section of his channel turned off by YouTube several years ago. According to this video, YouTube did not want comments allowed on videos portraying children. Since Luke’s three children often tag along with him on adventures and show up often in his videos, the policy has remained in place.

 

Given Luke’s low profile and aversion to the lime light it has been speculated that he now purposefully disables comments on YouTube and other platforms to avoid the need to respond to and filter constant messages from fans. He confirmed this in some comments on a Facebook post.
